Hello Kitty Art Show

Creative Direction & Event Activation

In honor of Women’s History Month, I curated a group art show entitled “Hella Kitty: Remixed and Reimagined.” Featuring works by 40 artists, the exhibition explored Hello Kitty through the lens of resistance, feminism, and personal identity, reinterpreting the iconic character as a symbol of empowerment.

In partnership with Cukui Clothing, I led event production, marketing, and community engagement including the opening reception and custom merch sales. $6k in proceeds from art sales and merch were donated to the ACLU, aligning the event and brand with a broader mission of social justice.
